We had our car packed to the fullest, snacks at my feet, and three excited people taking on a three day journey from Alabama to Idaho. Roughly 2,000 miles. That didn't bother us, we were planning to take our time driving. Only driving 10 hour days.
Our trip started out exciting! We arrived in Texas around 4 in the afternoon. Plenty of time to wind down and relax before waking up early and starting all over again. I enjoyed the little time we had to hang out with my best friend, Abby. We played cards and talked and laughed. The night flew by and before you knew it we were back on the road heading to Colorado where my brother lives.
Mya was an excellent traveler. She didn't make a sound and hardly played with any of her toys. She was content to just sit and look out the window. She did get a paper boat from a kids meal and piled her dinosaurs in it :) She did play with that for a very long time. She also only watched a total of 3 movies the entire trip!

We got to Colorado around 6:30 in the evening. We hauled our luggage in and settled in to stay for a week before finishing our trip to Idaho. My parents, sister and her family came down as well so we could get a family trip seeing as we don't know the next time we'll all be in one place at the the same time! It was crowded but we didn't mind. We had fun just being together. Laughing hard playing games, talking late into the night, and playing with all our kiddos! Those three crack me up!

It was hard enough getting all the kids to sit still for a picture, but it was equally hard to have them all look at you AND smile! So the best picture I got was this! Haha! Holly and Mya made a fort and Mya continually invited people to come see her 'house' It was cute to hear them giggle at there own secret jokes!
Again time flew by, family pictures turned out great (I'll get some on here as soon as I can) and we were loading up the car once more to finish our journey to Idaho.
We made a quick stop to visit Vince's dad just outside Denver. We had breakfast and caught up on each other and also learned new stories of Vince's childhood. After breakfast we quickly got back on the road, eager for our trip to be over. We ran into some icy patches and extremely strong winds but we were very blessed and our little baby car stayed on the road. :)
Finally pulling into Idaho, we made our first stop and Shelynn and Michael's. So happy to see our family and congratulate Amanda on her engagement and pregnancy!
Our trip mostly consisted of visiting with family and I mean lots, and lots, of family! (With everyone in town for Amanda's and Ryan's wedding)
I found my Mom's dogs had snuck into Mya's room to snuggle with her. I've recently learned they still sneak in there to sleep now missing Mya! :)

Grandma Mega with two of her grand kids!

We were able to celebrate Sam's first birthday while we were here and also get my Dad and Holly and card for theirs. It's so fun to be an aunt! Sam and Cailin both love Mya so much! She loves to help with them and make them giggle just by saying "ahh boo!"

The wedding came faster than expected and before we knew it we were all getting dressed ready for Amanda and Ryan to be husband and wife!
What a beautiful bride!

Okay, this is were I usually get super angry because now my pictures won't cooperate! It's all spaced out and dumb! Here are some pictures we got of the wedding!
After the wedding we ventured out into the mountains to take Mya sledding for the first time in her life. She was so excited with her new snow bibs Grandma had gotten her and the sled we borrowed from a friend.

She had so much fun! We laughed and screamed as we went down the hill! She didn't want to stop! Mya wanted to go again and again! Unfortunately for her, Vince and I are not used to hiking anymore and we tired out fast! :) She still had a blast and can't wait to go back for Christmas and sled again!

Our journey came to an end quickly and we before I'd like to we loaded up the car once more and made the three day journey back home. Only to turn around to have another adventure...but that will have to wait till later!
